Michelle Robertson, LICSW

Michelle Robertson, LICSW is a psychotherapist with over twelve years of experience working with adults living with a wide range of life challenges and mental health conditions. She has experience working in community mental health, outpatient addictions programs, an infectious disease clinic, as well as college counseling.

Michelle brings a person-centered and strengths-based approach to her clinical work. She values the importance of a strong client-therapist relationship and works to develop trust and rapport as the foundation of their work together. Michelle uses an eclectic approach incorporating cognitive behavioral methods with a trauma informed lens. She also understands that one’s relationship to their society and community play as important a role as one’s relationship to themselves.

Michelle earned her BA at Kenyon College and her MSW at Boston University, with a Certificate in Behavioral Medicine. Her clinical interests include working with adults living with trauma, addiction and recovery, chronic illness, life transitions, problematic relationships, anxiety, and depression.
