Christine Williams is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with close to ten years of experience working with adults and adolescents on a variety of life challenges. She has supervised doctoral students and master level clinicians in prior roles while working in numerous mental health settings. Christine enjoys using a variety of techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy as well as goal-oriented and strengths-based methods with a focus on mindfulness.
Christine employs a warm holistic approach to therapy with compassion, empathy and humor. She aims to help clients discover alternative ways of self-awareness and meaningful growth including mindful behaviors, attention to personal values, and commitment to action. Christine enjoys incorporating holistic and mindful techniques that are derived from her passion with yoga into her therapeutic practice.
Christine received her BA in Psychology from Wesleyan University and holds a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Saint Joseph.
