Jo Anne Soshnick, LICSW

Jo Soshnick has been a social worker for over 20 years, working with individuals and families. She has supervised graduate students and social workers for licensure. She has worked in numerous mental health settings, including in- and out-patient sites and residential treatment centers. For the past several years, she has worked on a dialysis unit with clients and families living with chronic illness.

Jo is a compassionate therapist who understands that most people experience struggles in life that can feel insurmountable. She uses a strength-based approach, and partners with her clients using various treatment modalities and therapeutic interventions to help them reach their goals. Her areas of expertise include CBT and DBT. She is a warm and creative individual with a good sense of humor, and is a lover of animals.

Jo has a BFA from The University of New Mexico, and a Master’s degree in clinical social work from Simmons College.
